MWM – Book Recommendations v.2

Thank you for all the great feedback on my 1st video with my book recommendations. I love meeting other book lovers like me and exchanging book recommendations. In this month book recommendation video, I talk about 3 more books.

The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday – This is a daily meditation book that I love and use during my daily morning routine. It offers daily insights and stoic meditations that give pragmatic advice. Ryan takes a quote from one of the great Stoic philosophers and gives insight and poses questions that we can apply in our modern daily life.

The Alchemist by Pablo Coehlo – This is an absolute classic and such an easy read. This is a great book to read over and over again. Depending on when you read it and whatever stage you are in your life, there is always a new and different lesson that you can learn.

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur – This book of poems by a young and talented poet is filled with passion and resonates with me as a minority Asian female who has also overcome sexual abuse.

What do you think of this month’s recommendations? What are some of your book suggestions?

If you have any topics that you want me to talk about, please leave a comment.

Tune in every Monday for new videos where I talk about entrepreneurship, lifestyle, mindset, failures and wins from my own experience as an Asian-American, female entrepreneur. I also post videos interviewing other minority women entrepreneurs who share their advice, experience and lessons learned.

I’m here to keep it real and share my ongoing journey and struggles with you. Some days you feel amazing and other days you feel like a complete failure and you want to crawl under a rock and disappear. Entrepreneurship is not easy, but you don’t have to go at it alone. Let’s help each other out.
