MWM – Invest in Yourself

Hi everyone!

It’s Monday! That means I just posted a new video up on my YouTube Channel. This week I talk about Investing in Yourself. Great timing because last week was my birthday and the best gift you can give to yourself is personal development, growth and knowledge.

Investing in yourself will always have positive returns. Take time to continually grow, learn and invest in your knowledge. In this video I talk about the importance. There are no excuses. If you don’t have money, you can read books and articles online. You can watch videos such as TED Talks. You can read from blogs. You can listen to FREE podcasts! Don’t have time? Listen to audio books and podcasts when you are working out, going for a walk, washing the dishes, driving to work, etc.

If you have any topics that you want me to talk about, please leave a comment.

Tune in every Monday for new videos where I talk about entrepreneurship, lifestyle, mindset, failures and wins from my own experience as an Asian-American, female entrepreneur. I also post videos interviewing other minority women entrepreneurs who share their advice, experience and lessons learned.

I’m here to keep it real and share my ongoing journey and struggles with you. Some days you feel amazing and other days you feel like a complete failure and you want to crawl under a rock and disappear. Entrepreneurship is not easy, but you don’t have to go at it alone. Let’s help each other out.

  • great post! investing in yourself with knowledge and experience truly is the best gift you can give yourself 🙂

i couldn’t bear to take out loans for fashion school so i self-taught myself a lot, offered free labor in exchange for experience with seamstresses and entrepreneurs, found some great (and affordable) classes at a non-profit entrepreneurship center, and eventually got a great job in the industry!

you’re right. there are so many free resources out there. it’s overwhelming once you start looking!
