MWM – Don’t Listen to the Naysayers

When it comes to entrepreneurship or doing something different like leaving a corporate career to pursue something you are passionate about… There will be many people who will tell you it’s not a good or “safe” thing to do. They worry about stability and security. Some of these people may even be your close friends and family. My advice… take it all with a grain of salt and don’t take it personally. Often times, the ones who tell you that you can’t do it, are really saying they won’t or can’t do it. Don’t listen to the naysayers. Pave your own path and take control of your own life. If whatever you are pursuing doesn’t work out, so what? You will always learn from it, grow and at least you won’t have any regrets later on in your life about never trying at all.

Tune in every Monday for new videos where I talk about entrepreneurship, lifestyle, mindset, failures and wins from my own experience as an Asian-American, female entrepreneur. I also post videos interviewing other minority women entrepreneurs who share their advice, experience and lessons learned.

I’m here to keep it real and share my ongoing journey and struggles with you. Some days you feel amazing and other days you feel like a complete failure and you want to crawl under a rock and disappear. Entrepreneurship is not easy, but you don’t have to go at it alone. Let’s help each other out.
